About the Band
The Fifteenth Floor formed in the middle of 2004. They spent most of the rest of the year writing, practising and honing their sound. With a wide range of influences, the result was a fresh new sound consisting of clever timings, driving guitar riffs, funky bass lines, crazy drumming and passionate female vocals.
The 5-piece started gigging at the end of 2004, and over the following months performed in Poole, Bournemouth, Brighton and Southampton. They recorded their first 6 song E.P early in 2005 with engineer Paul Bennett, which included the songs 'Fly', 'Strange Feeling' and 'Goodbye for the Summer' and in July of the same year went on a short tour of Holland.
The Fifteenth Floor are back in the recording studio in April to record a new E.P. This E.P will hopefully be available in the middle of May. Keep listening.
